Workforce Learning & Design Solutions
The following instructional design projects were created while working as an Instructional Systems Specialist for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). These projects were designed to support workforce professional growth by enhancing training methodologies through innovative technologies. Each project includes a brief description of its primary goal and the technology used to foster effective learning and skill development.
This following pilot initiative by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Workforce Development Division aimed to enhance participants' skills, leadership capabilities, and overall professional and personal growth. Aligned with OPM’s mission, the program focused on developing leaders, fostering continuous learning, and equipping employees with the competencies needed to drive mission success across government agencies. I contributed to this project by leveraging my expertise in instructional design, graphic design, and marketing communication to ensure a cohesive, engaging, and impactful program. Additionally, I ensured that the course was designed and developed in compliance with ADA 508 standards for accessibility to provide an inclusive learning experience for all participants.

This course was designed to provide OPM employees with an engaging learning experience, deepening their understanding of constitutional principles and their impact on federal operations. I chose Articulate Storyline 360 for its robust features, allowing me to integrate scenario-based learning, interactive knowledge checks, branching scenarios, and multimedia elements to enhance engagement. Its SCORM compatibility ensured seamless LMS integration for tracking progress and assessments.
Developed with accessibility in mind, this course adheres to Section 508 compliance standards, ensuring inclusivity. My goal was to make learning about the U.S. Constitution both informative and interactive, fostering a deeper appreciation of its significance in public service.

This project is still in progress, the sections presented showcase my instructional design work, including the strategies for engagement, tools, and content developed up to this point.
For this No Fear Act Training, I designed an immersive learning experience using a breaking news theme to immediately engage participants. The course opened with a high-energy introduction video, simulating a live news broadcast to capture attention and set the stage for the training. To maintain engagement, I carried the reporter theme throughout the course, delivering key content as if it were breaking news, making the information more dynamic and relatable.

During my time at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), I leveraged my expertise in instructional design and graphic design to create engaging and visually compelling learning experiences. In addition to developing interactive courses, I designed high-quality graphic assets, including custom logos, certificate of completion templates, presentation templates, and marketing communication posters. These elements helped establish a cohesive and professional visual identity across various training programs, reinforcing key learning objectives and enhancing participant engagement.
By integrating multimedia, interactivity, and strong visual design, I ensured that OPM’s workforce development initiatives were not only informative and impactful but also engaging and visually appealing.
