EME 605 Introduction to Distance Learning Class Project

For this group project, our goal was to design instructional material regarding Florida's new COVID-19 health guidelines for A&M Cleaning & Maintenance Services, Inc. to support them in re-opening and providing its cleaning services to businesses in the Tampa Bay area during the pandemic in 2020. Our project was created in Rise 360 and we utilized Canvas as the Learning Management System (LMS).

Recognizing CRAAP.jpg

For this project, a sustainable process was incorporated. The client wanted to increase the learner's skills to judge and evaluate the veracity and authenticity of research sources. So, mini-courses were created based on the CRAAP test which was created by Librarians at Meriam Library, California State University.

The mini-courses were created by including engaging activities using Prezi and Sutori presentations, PowToon videos, Poll Everywhere, and a Padlet collaborative activity.

NPS Logo Draft.jpg

This project was created during my internship. I was tasked to provide a draft newsletter logo for a client with a 24-hour turnaround. I designed this logo under a very tight deadline due to the client’s urgency while not infringing on any Copywrite laws and following the client's vision.
